Robert John
Trenchik
Jun 11, 1947 — Oct 29, 2026
Robert John Trenchik, age 79, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2026.
Born in Kittanning City, Pennsylvania, Robert relocated to the Tampa Bay area in the late 1970s, where he made his home and built his life.
Following a life-changing automobile accident in the early 1990s that left him disabled, Robert found a new purpose in dedicating his life to serving others through his faith. He devoted his remaining years to ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ, praying for others, and offering comfort, encouragement, and compassion to those in need. Through his nursing home and emergency room ministries, he touched many lives with his kindness, prayers, and unwavering faith in the Lord. His life was a testament to his love for Christ and his desire to bring hope and comfort to others.
Robert is survived by his loving children, Dee (Tom), Robert Jr. (Ronit), Joseph (Penny), and Barbara; his grandchildren, Marissa, Chris, Jayden, Julie, Joey, Tony, and Madelyn; his great-grandchildren, Sophia and Clover; and his siblings, Frank (Sonny), Patricia (Patty), Rita, Irene (Reene), Catherine (Cathy), and Bernadette (Bernie).
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores, and his siblings, Marlene, Laura, Rowena, and Veronica (Babe).
Robert will be remembered for his deep faith, his devotion to sharing the love of Jesus Christ, and the countless lives he touched through his prayers and ministry. Though he will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him, his legacy of faith, love, and service will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
May he rest in the eternal peace and love of the Lord.
