OWENS, Robert W., 74, of Dade City, FL passed away on July 15, 2018. Robert was born on March 9, 1944 in Youngstown, Ohio to parents Alfred Owens & Hazel (Bergland) Owens and grew up in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was a ham radio operator from the young age of fifteen in his free time, and spent his career working as a Certified Public Accountant. Robert also devoted his time to being a lay reader at St. Marys Episcopal Church in Dade City.Robert leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, Joyce (Butterworth) Owens; daughter Lorie Larkin (Jon S. Larkin III); two grandchildren: Jon Sidney Larkin IV and William Alexander Larkin; and many friends.A memorial service will be held at St. Marys Episcopal Church in Dade City on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11am.
