Robert L. Giles Jr. 73, Born October 5, 1948. Passed away at home on April 23, 2022 surrounded by his loving family and friends after a lengthy illness. Bob graduated High School in Beaver Falls, PA. Then served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War 1969-1972. Bob returned home in Erie, PA and worked as a machinist for several years and eventually retired to Zephyrhills, FL. He loved outdoor activities and spending time with his family and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his mother Alma M. Young and father Robert L. Giles Sr., his sister Patricia A. Welsh and brother John K. Giles. He is survived by his loving wife Debra Giles of 23 years, his children Robert L. Giles III, Paula J. Young, Chris L. Giles, Becky Giles-Samec, and Tina Matlock; he was also a father figure to many others who he loved dearly. He is further survived by his sisters Glenda Giles, Carol Giles and Suzie Giles as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a proud member of AA for 26 years.
