DesRosier, Robert L. 81, of Dade City, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015 at his home. He was born March 21, 1934 in San Antonio, FL to Joseph M. & Catherine Pike DesRosier and was a U.S. Marine Veteran. Robert was a longtime area resident having worked for the Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative during the 1950s and 1960s, spent several years in the Cable TV Industry and finally retired in 1990 as the Building Official for Pasco County. Robert is survived by his wife of 59 years: Frances L. DesRosier; step-son: Stephen Randy Parsons and his wife Jamie; 2 brothers: Roman DesRosier and his wife Josephine, Charles DesRosier and his wife Linda; 1 sister: Patty Batchelor; 2 grandchildren: Kelley Russell and Jon Parsons; 2 great grandchildren: Jacob Russell and Jayden Parsons; 2 step great grandchildren: Dylan and Tyler Helms. He was preceded in death by 3 siblings: Kenneth, Dorothy and Theresa. Robert requested that there be no services.
