Robert William Defilippo, 81 , of Ridge Manor passed away Tuesday, December 14th, 2021. He was born in North Grosvenor Dale, Connecticut to William and Elizabeth Defilippo. Bob and Carol married May 6, 1961; creating a beautiful life together with their four children. They moved to Ridge Manor in 2002. Bob was a retired firefighter after 25 years serving his town. He was an active member in his church; Ridge Manor Community Methodist Church. Also a member of the Crime Watch and Ham Radio Club. Bob and Carol traveled all 50 states, making Hawaii the final state to visit on their 50th wedding anniversary. He made the achievement of black belt at 75 years of age. Bob was loved deeply and will be truly missed. Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years: Carol Defilippo ; Children: Laura Ann Defilippo, Larry Allen Defilippo, Donna Sue Dunlap, Darin Scott Defilippo; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and sister: Alice Daigle. As well as many beloved friends and family. A service will be held Monday, Decemeber 20, 2021 at 10:00 am at Ridge Manor Community Methodist Church. A visitation will take place prior, from 9:00 am till 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Ridge Manor Community Methodist Church in Bob's memory.
