Obituary

Buchele, Robert Bob, 84 passed away on February 27, 2012 at the Hospice of the Comforter House in Altamonte Springs, Florida with his family by his side after a long battle with COPD. Bob was a loving husband to his wife Lorraine for 63 years, a devoted and fantastic Father, as well as a loving brother, uncle and friend to many. Always a hard worker, sometimes working two jobs along with coaching the neighborhood little league baseball team with the help of his wife Lorraine; while she was also coaching our girls softball team. Bob was born in Michigan on December 8, 1927 to Edith and George Buchele. Bob served in the U.S. Army as a U.S. troop and munitions transporter prior to the beginning of the Korean War, which was at times, a very dangerous job. After returning home, he married his High School Sweetheart Lois Lorraine McKay and they soon added Cathy, Lon and Sandi to the Family. Bob lived in Michigan with Lorraine and the three children until 1969. In November 1969, after taking a job with Tyler Refrigeration located in Niles, Michigan, he and his family was relocated to Florida to work the Central Florida to South Georgia Territory for Tyler. After living in Florida for 3 years, he was relocated back to Michigan with Lorraine and resided once again in Michigan until the early 80s when he was again relocated back to Florida where he resided until passing away. Bob spent most of his working career as an Electrician and Air Conditioning Technician, most of it as Field Service engineer and trouble shooter with Tyler Refrigeration. He retired from Tyler Refrigeration after 26 years of employment. Bob (Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend) will be greatly missed by his loving wife Lorraine, Son Lon (Maggie) Buchele, Daughter Sandi (Don) Hodgskin, Brothers Tom (Diana) Buchele, Dean (Angie) Simpson, Sister Audrey Simpson-Harmon, Grandsons Bill (Alesia) Carringer, Chris (Karin) Carringer, Granddaughters Jeanette Back, Melissa (Mike) ODonovan and many Nieces, Nephews, Grand Children and Great Grandchildren. Bob was preceded in Death by his Father George Buchele, Mother Edith Davison, Brother Keith Buchele, Daughter Cathy Myers, and Grandsons Scott Buchele and Russell T. Stevens. Our family wants to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and words of encouragement during our precious time we had with Bob (Dad & Grandfather) during his illness.
