BROWN, Robert "Shorty", age 57, passed away at his home in Dade City, FL on February 1, 2020. He was born on August 25, 1962 in Dade City, FL to parents Ronald Kenneth "R.K." Brown Sr. & Betty Ann (Sherman) Brown.Shorty will be fondly remembered for his charm, wit, and being a connoisseur of the ladies of all ages. All who knew him, however, will remember him most as the ultimate "cowboy's cowboy". He lived his life doing what he loved, whether he was on a horse, in a rodeo arena, or just working the daily life and duties of a cowboy. Brahma Hill Ranch held a special place in Shorty's heart and will forever be his home.Shorty was preceded in death by both his mother and father.Loving survivors include one brother, Kenny "Bebo" Brown; three sisters: Felecia Penney, Donna DeLong (Bruce), and Trish Stancil (Mel); along with numerous nephews, nieces, and many loving friends.Shorty's family will be hosting a "Cowboy Goodbye" from 2-4pm on February 9, 2020 at the Sunny Acres Lodge 7290 Hacienda Trail, Polk City, FL, 33868. Please stay following the service for fellowship and food. Flowers will be graciously accepted or a donation can be made in Shorty's memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
