Robert D. Bates entered into rest 12/24/2015 at age 73, surrounded by his family. He was born 11/24/1942 in Pennsylvania. After serving in the US Army he began working for the Panama Canal Co and retired in 1944 relocating to Florida. He is survived by wife, Maritza of 51 years; sons, Robert Jr.and Roger; 4 grandchildren; mother; 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation will take place 10-11 Am January 4th at the Church of Nazarene, 34106 Hwy 54W Wesley Chapel. A Service will be conducted at 11 AM with Pastor Mac Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Florida National. Cemetery.
