Rita M. Swiatowicz, age 93, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away peacefully on December 17, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. Rita was a wonderful wife & mother to her children and grandchildren. She had many friends and was loved by everyone she met. She was born in Piscataway, New Jersey February 2, 1930. She was married to the late Stephen Swiatowicz on June 21, 1952, for 62 years. Survived by daughters: Linda Caruana of Dade City, FL & Rosemary Casisa of Jacksonville, FL. ; Grandchildren: Gabrielle Kiesel of Zephyrhills, FL. Nicole Wiltcher of Norwich, England & Christopher Wogan of Jacksonville, FL; Sisters: Nancy Dunaway of Alabama, Mary Scanlan of South Carolina & Doris Dooley of Alabama; Sister-in-law: Florence Bowes of New Jersey. Rita's passions were gardening, cooking, traveling & church activities. Spending time with her daughters and grandchildren brought her joy and happiness. There will be a celebration of life to spread her ashes with family in January 2024. Date to be determined.
