Ricky Donald Sargent, 67, passed peacefully into eternal rest on November 30, 2019. Originally from Ft Wayne, Indiana, he had been a Pasco county resident since 1992. PrIor to becoming disabled, Ricky was employed by International Harvester, in the army national guard, and volunteered with muscular dystrophy summer camps. He was an avid reader and collector of comic books and toys, and a huge history buff. For as long as his health allowed, he was very involved in the mens ministry and marriage encounter in the Methodist church. He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Suzanne, children Ryan and Rachel, and beloved granddaughters Olivia and Naomi, all of Wesley Chapel, as well as his father Roger (Cathy) Sargent of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and brother Carl (Diane) Sargent, of Woodburn, Indiana, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola, and brother, Dale. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Land OLakes at 2pm on December 14th at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of Land OLakes.
