Rick Edward West, 57, of Dade City, Florida, passed away Sunday, November 12th, 2023 at home. Originally from Onondagay, New York, he was born to Edward and Ellen West. In his youth, Rick attended Lafayette High in New York, he obtained his Bachelors degree in science from Rochester Institute of technology, and was a member of the National Honors Society. Rick kept busy, he owned his own landscaping company, "West Florida Landscaping", he loved college football, basketball, and professional baseball. Rick loved animals and was known for his sense of humor, but what Rick really loved was Key West Florida. He is survived by his wife Penelope West, Brittani Alveraz, Russell Sorrows and his wife Amanda, Grandchildren; Emilie Alveraz, Vahalla Alveraz, and Russell Sorrows Jr. Though he may be gone from this earth, he will never be forgotten, he will live on for forever in our hearts and memories.
