Richard A. Lincoln 1938 - 2012 WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. - Richard A. Lincoln, 73, formerly of Honeoye Falls and Canandaigua, died on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, surrounded by his family, at Florida Hospital in Zephyrhills, Fla. Richard was born on Dec. 15, 1938, to George and Mary Lincoln in Hopewell. He was later raised by Jake and Maude Scott of Honeoye Falls, where he graduated from high school. He was a veteran who had served in the armed forces in 1959. Richard then went to college to receive his bachelor's degree. After working for Stromberg Carlson for a number of years, he started a taxicab business which he owned until 1997 when he moved to Florida. Richard is survived by his son, Raymond (Lisa) Lincoln of Canandaigua; daughter, Rhonda (Terry) Lynch of Farmington; grandchildren, Daniel Lynch, Raymond Christian and Ethan Lincoln; and his companion's children, Marion (David) Rupert of Wesley Chapel and Sherry Tyman of Rochester. Richard was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth, in 2002; companion of 28 years, Diana Marie Joslyn, in 2008; and brother, George, in 2008. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 25, at 11 a.m. at Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, 59 Monroe St., Honeoye Falls. Burial will be in North Bloomfield Cemetery, West Bloomfield.
