Obituary

Richard Blaine Lambert, 77, of Wesley Chapel passed away November 7, 2017 at Tampa General Hospital. He was born August 14, 1940 in Minot North Dakota. Richardgraduated from University of Minnesota with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and received his Masters in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University. His first job was working at Lockheed's Space Division, in Silicone Valley California, and always had a passion for space and flying.He received his private pilots license in the 70's and his greatest pleasure was flying over the Bay Area and the Golden Gate Bridge. Richard married his love, Lola, and they resided in California, where he enjoyed camping throughout the state and boating on Folsom Lake.They moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and found his other true love, green chili! He looked forward to each October to witness the hot air balloons flying over his back yard.His hobbies included remote control airplanes, Barbershop chorus, World War 2 and the Civil War, as well as football. He loved his 49ers.He is survived by, his wife Lola of 52 years: 2 daughters, Stacy Mote (Damon Mote) and Kristin Nebiolini (Ernie Nebiolini); 2 grandchildren, Ian Mote and Corinne Lykins, and 1 sister, Carole Cameron.Memorial Services will be held at Atonement Lutheran Church Wesley Chapel on November 11th, 2017 at 4:00pm.In lieu of flowers, please offer donations to the Helping Hands Food Pantry at Atonement Lutheran Church. 29617 State Road 54 Wesley Chapel Florida 33543 Memorial Service
