Clifford Josey 76, of Webster, FL passed away Thursday, June 2nd, 2022, under the care of Gulfside Regional Hospice. Clifford was born May 22, 1946, in Andalusia, AL to Richard Clifton & Nettie Brooks Josey. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired as the Director of Security after a 35-year career with the Florida Mental Health Institute. He was a member of Cross Connection Church where he served as an usher and was active with the Mens Connect Group. Clifford is survived by 2 children: Nadia Heinz, Robert Heinz and his wife Andria; granddaughter Sophia Heinz, step grandsons Michael & Nicholas Hernandez; 2 sisters Jeanie Parker, Yvonne Curles; Sister-in-laws Shirley Lewis, Rita Campbell, Terrie Henshaw, several nieces and nephews as well as his beloved "Mountain Family; Helen, Nancy, Danielle, Tyler & Bradley". He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Lina Sue Josey, his parents: Richard C. & Nettie N. Josey; his brother Jack Josey and his granddaughter Julianna Heinz. As an avid nature lover, Clifford enjoyed sitting on his front porch and watching the wildlife that wandered through his property, especially the deer and the birds. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Gulfside Regional Hospice. Interment Services will be held 10:30am Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. For those not able to attend in person, the service will be live streamed on FB through Cross Connection Church's FB page.
