Richard W. Forrester, Sr, 90, of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away Monday evening, November 10, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 14, 1935, in Summit County, Ohio to Jesse R. & Inez White Forrester and was a longtime area resident of Zephyrhills. He worked as a Plant Manager for Thatcher Glass Company and then worked as Event Coordinator for the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce before his retirement. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran serving active duty for the Korean War.

Richard is survived by his wife Cellie Forrester; 3 sons: Richard "Ritchie" Forrester and his wife Linda, Shane Forrester and his wife Gayle, and Rex Forrester; 1 brother Charles E. Forrester and his wife Myra; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son Todd; and 2 siblings: Russell and Gloria.

Funeral Services will be held 2:30pm Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at the funeral home on Wednesday (prior to service time).
