DRIGGERS JR., Richard "Eddie" Edward, 73, of Dade City, Fl, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Zephyrhills, Fl. He was born on August 25, 1948 to parents, Richard Edward Sr., and Mary Ruth Driggers in Lakeland, Fl. He married the love of his life, Wilma Jean Driggers on May 24, 2000. He was a hard and dedicated worker his whole life, when he started working with his family in their citrus grove and worked most of his career as a over the road truck driver. His passions included, racing of all kinds, horses, fishing, and football in which he played during his high school years. He is survived by his loving wife, Wilma Jean Driggers, Children; Tammy (Brian) Chiles, Richard "Fat Boy" Driggers III, and Patrick (Michelle) Driggers. Stepchildren Sheila (Billy) Garren, Rhonda (Carl) Ellison, and Doug (April) Pence. Grandchildren; Wayne (Tiffany) Russell, Christopher Russell, Tamara Johnson, Courtney Kiser, Cody Kiser, Amber Garrow, Alicia Gordon, Brionna Gordon, and Patrick Edward Driggers Jr., 22 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, Richard Edward Driggers Sr., and Mary Ruth Driggers, and Granddaughter; Autumn Marie Driggers. Services will be held Wednesday September 29, 2021 at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Fl. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1-2pm followed by the service at 2pm.
