Richard David Devine (Andy) 67, of Ridge Manor, FL passed away unexpectedly after surgery on Thursday, November 28, 2024. Ric was born in Norfolk, VA on April 4, 1957. He was proud to serve in the United States military for 30 years. He began his military career in the Air Force before following in his father's footsteps to the Navy where he served on the USS Missouri until she was decommissioned. Ric loved talking about his time onboard and all of the great experiences that he had. He retired as a lieutenant in the Navy in 2004 then continued his life of service as a registered nurse at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Ric was known to keep his work family laughing with his playful pranks. He loved to travel, fish, collect art, sing along to musicals, and float around in the pool. Most of all Ric loved his family! Nothing made him happier than being Pappy to his grandson. He looked forward to making every moment special for those he loved. Ric is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Jenn Devine, children Andrew Devine (Kelsey), Matthew Devine (Taylor), and Micah Johnstone (Casey), beloved grandson, Liam Richard Devine, his mother, Jan Devine, sister, Laura Devine, nephews Ryan Bice (Jordan) and Lucas Pseres and nieces, Emily Carpentieri (Ricky) and Molly Pseres. He is predeceased by his father David Devine.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
