Richard Allen Corkum, age 94 of Dade City, Florida (originally Massachusetts) joined his Lord and Savior on August 8, 2022. He is survived by his children Norman and Peggy Corkum, Christine and Bill Stanton, William Corkum, Carol, and Douglas Klein, Ronald and Lorraine Corkum, Donald and Mary Corkum, David and Renee Corkum, Steven and Susan Corkum, and James Corkum; twenty-four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Lala M Corkum, his beloved wife of 60 years.

Richard was a very loving and loyal person, always ready with a smile even as his health deteriorated. He worked tirelessly to support his large family and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. His upbeat attitude and caring for others were always a joy for family and friends.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at Hodges Family Funeral Home 11441 US. Highway 301 in Dade City Florida on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 10-11 am followed by the funeral service at 11 am. He will be interred at Chapel Hill Gardens immediately after the services.
