Richard Hearn Bingham, III, was blessed with 77 years of life. A warrior who courageously battled MS, and more cancer diagnoses than you could count, passed peacefully at home in his sleep, on April 18, 2021. He was predeceased by his mother, Anne Croft Bingham, father, Richard H Bingham II, and sister, Nancy Bingham- Hill Lunsford. Richard was born Oct 16, 1943, in Valdosta, Ga. but moved to Tampa in his early childhood.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Elise Toulette Bingham; his brother, James H. Bingham (Terri); and his eight children, Richard, IV(Kari), Patricia Bingham ( Bill Kiessel), Sean(Rellie), Jennifer Sullivan(Matt), Kindre Bingham(Joe Bosio), Michael (Jamie), Matthew, and Lauren Bingham (Joseph Heflin); 23 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephew, and cousins.

Richards passions were God, country, and family. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, a devoted Benedictine Oblate at St. Leo Abbey, and a member of St. Anthonys of Padua in San Antonio. He proudly served as a Force Recon Marine before and during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of USF and later went on to become CEO and Scientist of Immunotec. An amazing man of incredible faith, fortitude, and spirit, he will be missed by many loving family and friends.

There will be a Funeral Mass on Friday, April 30th, at 10 am at St. Leo Abbey, St Leo, Fl. with interment immediately after the service at Chapel Hill Gardens, 11441 US Hwy 301, Dade City, Fl 33525.
