Richard A. "Joe" 75 of Zephyrhills died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 at his residence. Joe was born in Reisterstown, MD to the late Douglas & Margaret Schmidt Armstrong. He was US Army veteran and moved to Zephyrhills in 1960 where he was member of the Full Holiness Gospel Tabernacle Church. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Jean Murphy Armstrong, his daughters Nita Sherrill of Zephyrhills, Pamela Bohannon (Benjamin) of Ocala, Sister Fern Crabill of Manchester, MD. 8 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. Joes family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the 301 chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, also on Monday. Joe will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Gardens, Dade City.
