Richard Peter "Dick" Ance, 74, of Brooksville, FL passed away Monday, January 18th, 2021. He was born August 3, 1946, in Leelanau County, MI to Francis Joseph & Levader Lillian Ward Ance. He was a member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa/Chippewa Tribe, Peshawbestown, Michigan, and a member of St. Anthony the Abbott Catholic Church in Brooksville. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the Oil & Gas Industry as a Service Representative. Dick is survived by his wife of 52 years: Barbara Ance; 2 children: Bobbi Jo White and Richard Peter Ance Jr.; his sister Diana Simpkins-Bruckbauer; 3 grandchildren: Alena Marie Valadez, Zoe Noelle Ance, and Alan Michael White, and 1 great-granddaughter: Raelyn Michelle Valadez. He was preceded in death by his son, Aidan Joseph Ance. Funeral Services will be held 12pm Monday, January 25th, 2021 at St. Anthony the Abbott Catholic Church in Brooksville, with burial to follow at Brooksville Cemetery. The family will receive friends for viewing from 9-11am Monday morning at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. Visitation
