Reva M. Green, age 85, went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 13th. She was born in Lincoln, Kansas to Rev. Ralph and Ruth Smith. She graduated from Frankfort Pilgrim Holiness College. She returned back to school to obtain her LPN license, where she gave loving care to seniors. She attended the Zephyrhills Wesleyan Church, where she taught children's church, Sunday school, women's missionary group and was minister of music. Reva was an accomplished musician and played many instruments.She is preceded in death by her loving husband James E. Green Sr; sister Roberta Slack; son Robert E. Green; and granddaughters Melissa and Melinda Schley. She is survived by brothers Raymond and Robert Smith; sisters Rosie Blinn and Raydene Green; children Edward J. Green (Wanda), Vonagene M. Schley (Richard), James E. Green Jr, Timothy R. Green, and Radonna R. Hepler (Lee); 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.She was the most wonderful mother; we were blessed to have an example of love, compassion, and godliness.A funeral service will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home Zephyrhills chapel on Tuesday, February 17th at 11:00. Family will receive friends an hour prior, from 10:00 to 11:00. Committal will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, where Reva will be laid to rest with her husband James.
