With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many. She peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 31st, 2023, with family by her side. Leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and devotion. Becky was a beacon of strength and warmth, encompassing multiple roles with grace. As a dedicated nurse for 25 years, she selflessly cared for countless patients, providing comfort and solace during their most vulnerable moments. Her unwavering commitment to healing and kindness brought comfort to those in need. Beyond her professional achievements, Becky embraced her most cherished roles as a daughter, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and friend. She reveled in the love she shared with her children, taking pride in their achievements and milestones. Her heart swelled with joy as she watched her family grow, with six children, she was preceded by Michael and Jeffrey, and she was survived by Anita (Bill), Steve (Tammy), Amy (Shawn), Alison (David), and Carmen. Beckys nurturing spirit extended to her role as a grandmother, creating cherished memories and lifelong bonds with her grandchildren. Her wisdom and guidance will forever resonate in their hearts, inspiring them to lead lives filled with purpose and compassion. Her grandchildren Beth, Sarah, Michael, Lisa, Maria, Mariah, Jeffrey, Elaine, Amber, Steven Jr, and Riley. As a great-grandmother, Becky continued to radiate love and wisdom, with her stories and laughter, which will be cherished by all. Her seven great-grandchildren; are Gabrielle, Theron, Michelle, Dawson, Owen, Asher, and Mallory. And her two favorite grand fur babies Chloe and Dixie. Becky found joy in simple pleasures, whether it was reading, vacationing, sharing laughter around the dinner table, or offering a listening ear to friends in need. Her ability to make each person feel valued and loved created a ripple effect of positivity that extended far beyond her immediate circle. Though Becky has left this earthly realm, her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that will continue to inspire generations to come. A memorial service to celebrate Beckys life will be held on September 9th, 2023, at Hodges Family Funeral Home from 1 pm- 2:30 pm. 11441 US-301 S Dade City, FL 33525. Following the service, we will be releasing Monarch Butterflies in honor of Becky outside. In place of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Dementia Society of America or The American Society of Retina Specialists in honor of Becky's illnesses.
