Raymond "Earl" Sturwold (73) of Dade City Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 7, 2024 in his home. He is survived by his loving wife Dena (Gollberg Sturwold), sister Nina (Sturwold), several cousins, and his much adored great niece, Keilah (Holtzhower).

Earl was born to the late Raymond John and Margaret McKinney Sturwold on January 6, 1951 in Cincinnati Ohio. He graduated from Pasco High School in 1969, continued his studies at Central Florida Community College, and graduated from the University of South Florida, receiving a degree in Accounting, in 1976. Later on, he began his accounting career in Lakeland and finished his career at HAMIC PREVITE & STURWOLD, P.A. in Dade City, Florida. Earl was a board member of San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union, and Academy at the Farm.

In his spare time, Earl enjoyed reading, studying history, and spending time with his "Lunch Bunch" crew. He loved the Lord, and enjoyed watching Keilah sing on the praise team at the Dade City First United Methodist Church. Earl also had a sense of style, and enjoyed collecting tennis shoes in any color.

A celebration of life will be held for Earl on Saturday, April 13, 2024 beginning at 10:00am at the Dade City First United Methodist Church, located at 37628 CHURCH AVE, DADE CITY, FL 33525. After the service, there will be an after lunch reception in the Christian Life Center.

A family only graveside service will be at Enterprise Cemetery after the service.
