Raymond Marion Shutt Jr, 65, of Zephyrhills, FL and formerly of Elba, NY passed away at his home in Zephyrhills on Wednesday (August 28, 2019).
Raymond was born on November 24, 1953, in El Paso, Texas. A son of the late Raymond Marion Shutt Sr and the late Erma Jean Tammen.
Raymond worked most of his life as a Herdsman on dairy farms. In 1996 he set a world record for parlor productivity by milking 757 cows in 4 hours and 45 minutes. He also enjoyed camping and fishing.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Jeanne Shutt of Zephyrhills, FL; sons, Andrew (Patty) Bunk of New York, Raymond Shutt, III of Indiana, Robert (Jami) Shutt of New York; daughters, Angela (Tor) Nielsen of Florida, Jennifer (James) Orbaker of Florida; grandchildren, Kyle, Julia, Rebecca, Joshua, Marisa, Erika, Matthew, Paisley, Lucas; siblings, Douglas (Marion) Shutt of Arizona, Rhonda (Sam) Goodell of Germany, Karen Shutt of North Carolina, Mary Brewer (Don Washington) of Illinois, Judy Fisher of Pennsylvania, Rodger (Marion) Shutt of Germany, Sherri (Rick) King of Pennsylvania, Sandi Shutt of Pennsylvania, Sue Shutt of Maine.
Mr. Shutt was predeceased by his parents and infant son Christopher Raymond.
A memorial service will take place at Hodges Funeral Home in Zephyrhills on Sunday, September 1st at 11:00 am with a family gathering at the Shutts home after.
