Raymond F. "Terry" Kirwin, 75, of Zephyrhills, FL, formerly of Paxton, MA, died Friday August 21, 2015, after a period of declining health. He leaves his wife of 53 years Jean P. (Desorcy) Kirwin, his daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth J. and Kenneth T. Strom of Jefferson, MA, his son Raymond "Joe" Kirwin of Webster, MA, and his grandsons Eric K. Strom of Spencer, MA and Kurt T. Strom and his wife Audra Zook Strom of Buckeye, AZ. Ray was born in Worcester, MA, January 27, 1940 to the late Raymond J. and Mary F. (Hickey) Kirwin. He was the brother of the late John J. Kirwin. He is survived by a sister, Rhoda M. Kirwin of Eugene, OR. He leaves a brother-in-law, David E. Desorcy and his wife Kathy of Myrtle Beach, SC. He leaves his Uncle William Kirwin of Charlton, MA. He was predeceased by several Aunts and Uncles, and he leaves many cousins. Ray served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He retired from NYNEX (Verizon) after 30 years of service and was a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers. He was a part-time Police Officer in Paxton, MA for many years. Ray was a motorcycle enthusiast and was formerly a member of the Blue Knights of MA. He enjoyed travelling the country with his wife in their RV. He was a member of the Elks, Moose, Eagles, Am Vets, and American Legion in Zephyrhills. Ray was very proud of his grandsons' academic accomplishments, and he was grateful that he lived to see them grow to be successful adults. Ray enjoyed many great times with his friends especially John Kasabula, John Leger, Kevin McDonald, Bob Dillman, Pete Davis and cousin Richie Agurkis. In accordance with Ray's wishes, no funeral services will be held. "May your home always be too small to hold all your friends."
