Raymond L. Dixon Jr., 73 of Zephyrhills, FL died on Tuesday August 19, 2014. Raymond was born in Weymouth, MA to Raymond L. and Myrtle A. Dixon of Hanover, MA. Raymond enjoyed golfing, camping, the Yankees, and most of all spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his daughter Brenda Dixon, his loving wife Mary E. Dixon, his sister Phyllis Gorrill, and brother Donald Dixon. Raymond is survived by his brother Allen & Gloria Dixon of Plymouth, MA; sons: Kevin P. & Lorianne Dixon of Easton, MA, Raymond J. & Cristin M. Dixon of Carver, MA, Daniel A. & Jacqueline Ibbitson of Wrentham, MA, Edward A. Ibbitson of Texas, Matthew S. Ibbitson of Pembroke, MA. as well as grandchildren Andrew M. Dixon, Tyler R. Dixon, and Jonathan R. Dixon. Ray's family will receive friends on Monday, August 25th from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Hwy 301 in Dade City. Raymond will be entombed in the Serenity Mausoleum, Chapel Hill Gardens Dade City. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in memory of Mary E. Dixon, to Gulfside Hospice, 2061 Collier Parkway, Land O'Lakes, FL 34639.
