Raymond Charles Anderson, 76, passed away on November 6, 2014. He was born on April 6, 1938 to Ray and Lennie Anderson in Latta, South Carolina. In his youth, he sought duty in the United States Air Force as an airplane mechanic. During this time, he married his soulmate of 51 years, Barbara Simpson. He worked hard his entire life, striving to provide more than enough for his family. He and Barbara had two daughters: Loveda (Karl) Bayles of Pickens, South Carolina and Raynell (David) Thompson of Lutz, Florida. They have four grandchildren: Charles, Lauren, Lindsey, and Holly. Raymond was a giver, and gave all he could to the very end. He will be forever missed and remembered for his unwavering love, guidance, and humor. Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Anderson will be Tuesday November 11, 2014 at 3pm from the chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery
