Ray D. Bergey Sr. age 86, of Lansdale, PA passed away Tuesday, December 31st, 2019.Ray was born August 19, 1933, in Hatfield, PA to parents Raymond W. and Katie L. (Bergey) Bergey.He was predeceased by 2 grandchildren.Survivors include wife: Pauline (Kooker) Bergey; to whom he was married to for 65 years, Children: Ray D. Bergey Jr., married to Mary (Clemens), Telford, PA, Kathy A Bergey, Canadensis, PA, Larry D. Bergey, married to Linda (Hess), Lansdale, PA, Sibling: Sadie Beyer, married to Dave, Souderton, PA, along with 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.Ray was in Alternate Service and served in 1-W Service in Fernhurst, DE.He worked as a self-employed painter for most of his life. Prior to this, he worked for George Snyder in lumber yard & retail. He served as trustee and usher at Rockhill Mennonite Church and is currently an active member at Lansdale Mennonite Church.
