Raul Herrera Ramos, born in Tamazula de Gordiano, Jalisco Mexico on June 30th of 1957 passed away unexpectedly on October 21st of 2020 due to complications of Covid-19.

Raul is survived by his wife, Hermelinda Barajas de Herrera; his children, Sandra, Chuy, Luis, Gloria, Raul Jr, Yesenia, Elsa, and Najeli Herrera; his grandkids (23) and great grandkids (3)

Raul migrated into the United States at the age of 20 in search of a future for his family. He began providing for his family by working in the orange, blueberry, corn, and apple fields, also construction. He traveled to Pennsylvania, Washington, Chicago, Texas, and Florida. Raul finally settled in Dade City, Florida where he raised his family and made it his home.

Raul enjoyed hunting, gardening, and traveling to his home town in Mexico. His routine consisted of his morning coffee and afternoon walks. He spent every weekend with his family outdoors cooking on the grill and playing dominoes with his brothers and sons. He would also enjoy hanging out with his friends at McDonalds.

Raul will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. A funeral service is scheduled for October 25th 2020, from 12:00-2:00 pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home 11441 US Hwy 301, Dade City, FL 33525.
