Raquel Garcia Tapia

Beloved Mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great and great grandmother, Aunt, Sister in law and friend, was born on January 23, 1956 in Harlingen, Tx., and called home by The Lord on May 30, 2025 in Zephyrhills, Fl.

Raquel was preceded in death by her parents, Lino Garcia Cantu and Elida Longoria Garcia, both of Los Indios, Tx., along with several infant siblings.

She is survived by her 4 children, Maxima Lee Pizano (Jose Pizano); Jackie Jeanette Almanza; Jose Adolfo Tapia (Erin Talaro) of Anchorage, Alaska, Erin Michelle Tapia, 8 sisters, 2 brothers, 7 sisters in law, 5 brothers in law, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and a multitude of loving family friends.

Raquel was known for her graceful disposition, peaceful demeanor and the love of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very present and active in their lives. Raquel adored her siblings and her in laws in every aspect of life, and she will be dearly missed by many.
