Randy S. Gelow, 67, of Dade City, Florida passed away July 17, 2022. He was born June 7, 1955 in Pontiac, Michigan to Willis E. Gelow Jr. and Barbara Lee Gelow. Randy was one of eight children, including Gary, Mary Kay (Candy), Kimmy, Willis (Chip), Keith, Shelly, and Sheila. Randy & Joelle married on August 19, 1984, in Gaylord, Michigan. He moved around Michigan from Pontiac, Waterford, Big Rapids, Gaylord, and later Dade City, Florida. He graduated from Ferris State College with an associate degree in Electrical Engineering. Randy worked with the same telecommunication company for 34 years as it grew from GTE to Verizon to Frontier. He was the definition of a handyman; hed fix anything; not limited to: cars, trucks, plumbing, electric, mechanical, non-mechanical, built homes, garages, laid cement, anything he could ride in or on. Randy could do anything. "Jack of all trades and master of all too". He was always available for anyone that needed him. Randy loved his family most and always put anyone before himself. He wasnt one for public attention and his achievements for him were measured in his personal accomplishments for his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend, and coworker. He loved all those aspects of his life. Randy is survived by his wife: Joelle Gelow; Children: Joseph Zaccardelli, Randy Gelow II; Grandchildren: Anthony, Jalyn, Sophia and Enzo Zaccardelli; Siblings: Gary Gelow, Mary Kay (Candy) Caulkins, Kimmy Jacobs , Willis (Chip) Gelow, Keith Gelow, Shelly Townsend, and Sheila Gelow; Friends: Jorge Montenegro, Randy Benson, Ted Dixon, Steve Glogowski, Keith Scott; Pets: Dak, Bree, Ty, Red; As well as, many loving family and friends and Preceded by his Parents: Willis and Barbara Gelow. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 24, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida.
