Ramona A. Willis, age 93 of Dade City, Florida passed away Saturday afternoon, Oct. 31, 2020 peacefully in her sleep surrounded by love ones. Ramona; also lovingly known as, Mom, grandma, granny and Mona Tia; was born February 28, 1927 in Eden, Texas a daughter of Raymond & Manuela Alexander. Later in life, she planted her roots in Dade City, FL and raised her four children. She worked as a geriatric nurses aid in 1966, and later earned a certificate in this field. She retired after 24 years of service.

Ramona had a passion for gardening. She took pride in tending to her yard and her rose bushes. She was known for her quick wit, infectious smile, and her honest ways. Ramona was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Ramona was preceded in death by her husband Garner Willis Sr; daughter Alma Pike; one sister, and several brothers.

Ramona is survived by two sons Juan DeLaRosa of Dade City, FL and Garner Willis of Brandon, FL; one daughter Ernestine Santiago of Woodbridge, VA. 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. One sister Hortencia Alexander of Zephyrhills, FL; Two brothers Joe Alexander of Dade City, FL and Luis Alexander of Lacoochee, FL. She also leaves other close family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
