Ralph Campbell, husband of the late Betty Whitbourne Campbell, long time former resident of the Rochester area and retired employee of Eastman Kodak, passed away Tuesday, November 29th in Georgia from complications of a stroke suffered the previous Friday. He was 93, a veteran of the WWII Pacific Theatre and is survived by his son, Ralph R. Campbell and granddaughter, Kelly A. Kuban both of Georgia, a brother, Raymond Ray Campbell in Indiana, and six nieces and nephews throughout the US. Ralph and his wife had moved to Florida after his retirement and lived happily there until her passing in 1991. He remained there until moving to Georgia earlier this year, to live with his son and wife Claire Jones Campbell and her mother Audrey Donnelly. Burial will be next to his wife in Dade City, Florida on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 2:00pm at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for viewing one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations or volunteers to Wreaths Across America, which places wreaths on the graves of veterans.
