Rachel Marie Sargent, of Wesley Chapel, FL, entered her eternal rest on February 6, 2020, at the age of 41. Rachel was born on June 8, 1978, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Ricky and Suzanne Sargent. From childhood, Rachel found fulfillment in helping others, following the examples of her grandparents and parents. Prior to graduating from Land O Lakes High School (FL) in 1996, she assisted with Special Olympics, and was active in Tampa Top Ministrya Christian-based program focused on serving people in need. She continued her service for Tampa Top Ministry through an internship after graduation. As an adult, she served as a leader for La Leche League. Rachel loved to share laughter with others, with a habit of donning festive or outlandish hats and striking goofy poses. Her greatest joy was being a mother, and she treasured the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom for her two young daughters, Olivia and Naomi. Rachels enjoyment of movies, sci-fi, and eclectic music lives on in her girls.Rachel is survived by her mother; her brother, Ryan; her daughters; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at First United MethodistChurch of Land O Lakes. The family invites those attending the service to wear wacky hats in Rachels memory.
