Philip Turnquist, 89, of Dade City passed away on August 21, 2015 while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Turnquist served his country faithfully in the United States Army. He is survived by a sister, Vernice Hazlett; sons, Wayne and Steve Turnquist; and daughters, Sharon Bookamer, Rebecca Herrera, and Laura Turnquist. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home on 5th Street in downtown Dade City. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Turnquist will be held on Tuesday, August 25th, at 11:00 a.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home 5th Street Chapel. Philip will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Tuesday, August 25th, at 1:30 p.m.
