Peter James Kleinkopf, age 83, passed away on Wednesday night, February 8, 2017, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on December 23, 1933. He resided in Tampa, Florida, prior to moving to Pasco County 28 years ago. Peter served in the US Air Force. He received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Florida Southern College. He had a long career at Florida Steel Corporation and retired in 1989. After retirement he and his wife moved to Dade City, Florida where he pursued his love of woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, five Daughters, ten Grandchildren, and thirteen Great-Grandchildren. Peter was a devout Catholic. While in Tampa he was an active parishioner of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, and more recently a member at St. Anne. Funeral services will be at St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ridge Manor on Saturday the 18th at 1:00pm with Father Hays officiating.
