Perry Anthony Velocci, 61, of Dade City, Florida passed away September 20, 2021. He was born October 21, 1959 in Bayshore, New York to Albert Velocci and Jennie Porreca. Perry grew up in West Side Deer Park. He married his sweetheart, Debbie Cody on November 25, 1977. They moved down to Florida in 1981. He enjoyed his coffee on the porch, Chevy trucks, watching "The Honeymooners" and anything 50/ 60s; TV shows, music and antiques.
Perry was a true American, very proud of his country. He was the one that you would see picking up trash off the ground wherever he was because he wanted to "Keep America Beautiful". He would never accept handouts but was always there for anyone in need. He never said no. Perry worked at least two jobs simultaneously his entire life. A very hard and dedicated worker. He was just one month from retirement when he passed. He was always the clown that made you laugh, the jokester that loved peoples reactions and always greeted everyone with a big smile and a "hows it going?!" Family and work were his priority and he was proud to be a strong influence in both.
Perry is preceded in death by his son: Gary P Velocci; mother: Jennie Porreca; and brother: Al Velocci.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Debbie Velocci; Children: Nicole Velocci (Bobby) , Michael Velocci (Oliva); Father: Albert Velocci; Grandchildren: Vincent, Alexandria, Gavin, Jackson, Lily and Julianna; Siblings: Linda Marenghi (Frank); and many loving family and friends.
