Obituary

Paulette Jeanne Richardson, 69, of Zephyrhills Florida passed away on February 26, 2016. Paulette was a loving person and a woman of grace. She was beautiful inside and out, extremely creative, and had an amazing garden that was a sight to behold. She loved working in her yard and painting. When she was able, she loved visiting nursing homes with her therapy dogs and camping at Fort Desoto. During her career, she was employed by Abbott Pharmaceuticals, USF, and Billwall Construction where she drafted plans for beautiful custom homes in the Tampa Bay area. Paulette was a cancer survivor whose determination and independent spirit brought the admiration of so many. Those who loved her were grateful to have had an additional twelve years with her thanks to her younger sister Lynette who gave her a kidney in 2004.Paulette was born in Waukegan, Illinois on June 23, 1946. She is survived by her mother Jeanne Raper of Kentucky, two sons; Lance (Cindy) Tidd of West Palm Beach, Craig (Charlene) Tidd of Zephyrhills, one daughter; Megan Gray of Illinois, five grandchildren; David Tidd and Danielle Tidd of Zephyrhills, Olivia Tidd and Zachary Tidd of West Palm Beach, and James York of Tennessee, one great-granddaughter; Hayley York of Zephyrhills, two brothers; William (Betsy) Raper of West Palm Beach, James Raper of Zephyrhills, two sisters; Annette (Regan) Paugh of Kentucky, Lynette (Greg) Lafleur of Zephyrhills, her cousin and best friend; Sharon Maloney of North Carolina, her special friend Clarence, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Paul Raper, her brother Dale Raper, and her therapy dogs Max and Malcolm.Paulettes passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of her loved ones. She will be forever remembered and greatly missed. A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Oaks Royal I & II Mobile Home Park (Clubhouse) in Zephyrhills. Family and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations made in her honor to the National Kidney Foundation are encouraged.
