It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Frank Romero, III announces his sudden passing on January 10 , 2021, at the age of 37 years. A native of Santa Fe, NM, he graduated from Capital High School and attended Purdue University in Indiana. In 2010, he moved to Wesley Chapel, Florida and began a career in the Marine Industry. He eventually worked his way up to CEO of an international Marine company and maintained his home in Florida. He was an avid sports fan, snow boarder and triathlon participant. He was talented in golf from an early age and continued to play competitively and for mere pleasure. He loved to cook and grill, always experimenting with new recipes. His recent interest was in soccer in order to support his soon to be step - son. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Yvonne Reins (Holger), Paul Frank Romero Jr. (Adella), Cleo Velasquez, Mary Frances Lopez (grandmothers), Nora Alamat (Fiance) and her son Kaden Kuntz and step - sister Lauren Loggains, Sebastian James, stepbrother, Sven Reins (Kerstin) and Joshua Reins. Paul will also be fondly remembered by his close friends in Florida and in NM as well as many members of his family in NM. Paul will be joining his brother, Jerome Romero, grandfathers, Paul F. Romero, Eppie Velasquez, and Uncle Phil Romero in heaven. Paul will be forever missed. A celebration of Pauls life will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 3:00 at Hodges Family Funeral Home (11441 US Hwy 301, Dade City, Florida) and a separate Memorial will be held in Santa Fe, NM at a later date.
