Paul Vincent Rogers, 88, of Lacoochee passed away Thursday, February 25th, 2021 at James A. Haley V.A. Hospital.

A native of Luverne, Alabama; he was the son of Joe Rogers and Clara Rogers.

Paul was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War.

Paul was the Business Owner of the R&H Trucking Company for many years in Lacoochee, Florida.

Paul leaves behind the Love of his life, Mary; son, Paul Vincent Rogers Jr; daughter, Brenda Rogers; son, Timothy Hawkins; grandson, Shawn Paul Hendricks; and nephew, Morgan Rogers.

Preceded in death by parents: Joe and Clara Rogers; brothers Joseph & Thomas Rogers; and son Bobby Dale Hawkins.

Paul loved his family and enjoyed fishing, hunting and rooting for his favorite NASCAR driver. Paul liked going to the Blackeyed Pea for breakfast and visiting with friends at the round table. Everybody called him "Papa" as he was a father figure to everyone, and some considered him the Mayor of Lacoochee. He was a member of the Dade City Masonic Lodge and loved all his brothers there.
