Paul R. Plummer, the son of the late Shimer and Ola Plummer, was born April 17, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio. He was one of 5 children. He was united in marriage to JoAnn Selvage in December of 1955. This union was blessed with four children, one grandchild and four great-grandchildren. Paul was one of Jehovahs Witness; his faith was very important to him. He attended the Dade City South Congregation. As one of Jehovahs Witness, he looked forward to a future hope of everlasting life in a Paradise Earth worshiping and serving his God, Jehovah. Paul was a very hard worker who took pride in caring for his family. After he retired, he worked part-time as a greeter at Walmart for over 17 years. His friends and customers knew him as "Donald Duck". Paul loved to talk to and help people. He also loved gardening, bicycling and eating with his family and friends. Paul passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Advent Health Dade City, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother: Edgar, his sisters: Gertrude Durrett and Beulah O'Bryan. He leaves behind his loving family including his wife JoAnn, Children: Constance Redditt (Robert), Peggy Robinson (Richard), Cynthia Wren (Robert) and Michael Plummer. Grandchildren: Leah Robinson Silveria (Charles) and four great-grandchildren: John, Anastasia, Jasmine and Robert. His sister: Mary Thomas. There are also nephews, nieces and many friends. He will be missed by all. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Edwinola Assisted Living Facility and Orchid Cove Nursing Home in Dade City for their outstanding care they shared with Paul.
