Paul Joseph Gaumond, 86, passed away on the evening of Monday, October 7, 2013 in Dade City, Florida. He was born in St. Raphael of Bellechasse, Quebec, Canada on March 3, 1927 to Leo and Antoinette (Girard) Gaumond. Paul is survived by his loving wife Margaret Hilton Gaumond. Together Paul and Margaret enjoyed many years of traveling in their RV and square dancing throughout the country.Paul is survived by his six children from his marriage to Lorette (Doyon) Gaumond of Port St. Lucie, FL : Diane (Wendell) Born of Spring Hill, TN, Bernard (Ann) Gaumond of Port St. Lucie, FL, Michel Gaumond of Stuart, FL, Dominique (Mark) Tinkler of Miami, FL, Doris (Edward) Haluch of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Paul (Patty) Gaumond Jr. of Bloomington, IL. Paul is survived by fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Survivors also include his siblings: Lucien Gaumond, Madeleine Gaumond Thunder, Lina Gaumond Laterreur, Jean-Paul Gaumond, Claudette Gaumond Picard, and Edouard Gaumond. Services will be held privately by the family.
