Paul J Gagnon, 89, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday May 22, 2018 in Zephyrhills, FL. He was born on December 27th, 1928 to Henry and Clarida Gagnon. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Lucy (Melanson), sons Michael and his wife Donna from McKinney Texas, Dennis from Zephyrhills FL, Stephen and his wife Lyn from Zephyrhills FL, daughter Maryellen Bourbon and her husband Tony from North Berwick, ME, and a brother Andrew. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, David, and 7 brothers and 5 sisters.

Paul graduated from Somersworth High school which he completed in 3 years. In 1949 he enrolled in the General Electric apprentice program. He also went on to UNH to earn his Bachelors degree. Paul was employed at GE Somersworth NH for 38 years as a foreman, production engineer, and international senior manufacturing engineer. His career took him all over the world including Mexico, the Philippines, Taiwan, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Brazil, and Canada. Paul and his family lived in both Brazil and Puerto Rico for a time.

Paul enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Social gatherings would often include a magic trick or two as well as his newest jokes. His retirement in Zephyrhills included golf, playing Bridge and other card games, entertaining visitors, reading books and doing crossword puzzles.
