Paul J. Beckel 90, of Wadena, MN passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Dade City, FL. He was born June 2, 1926 in Mankato, MN to Jacob & Mary Agnes Beckel. He was retired from the Minnesota Government as a Grade A Milk Inspector and was a US Army Air Force Veteran. Paul is survived by his wife of 65 years: Mary Beckel; 9 children: Mary Jane Rasmusson (Tom), Lake City, MN, Joanne Fitterer (Mark), Chino Valley, AZ, Jake Beckel (Mary), Indian Shores, FL, Mark Beckel (Denise), Dade City, FL, Ruth Skalman (Bob), St. Louis Park, MN, Patty Koller (Bob), Riverside, IA, Peter Beckel, Lakeville, MN, Theresa Zweber-Jones (R.C. Jones), Poolesville, MD, Paul Beckel (Jane), Bellingham, WA; 4 siblings: Frances Landwehr, Bob Beckel, John Beckel, Jackie Dulas; 35 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held 11am Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dade City. Services in Wadena, MN will take place at a later date.
