Patricia Ann Seidel 87, of Pensacola Florida passed away Wednesday December 18, 2024, with her three sons by her side.
Pat was born December 14, 1937 in Elyria, Ohio to Myron and Edith Saussler. Pat was employed by Capital Airlines in Minneapolis, Minnesota before meeting her future husband, Frank. Pat and Frank had a harmonious marriage of 58 years together. From Minneapolis, they moved to Seattle. There they had three boys, Bryan, Myron and David. They moved from Seattle to Zephyrhills, Florida in 1969. She and Frank met and developed a 55-year lifelong friendship and journey with Lee and Newt Bahr and their kids. She was employed as a travel agent with Fantasy Star Travel for many years. She and Frank owned a Hallmark card business for a number of years known as Cardland in Zephyr Plaza that brought them recognition. Together they built a secondary retirement home in the north Georgia mountains in Blairsville which they enjoyed during the summer months. In life and in retirement, she enjoyed playing cards, reading, traveling, and their Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church friends. Often traveling to see the country or to dozens of countries seen through tours, mystery tours, Alaskan cruises, or European river cruises. She always had a smile and cheerfulness that made you feel welcome. Pat survived by her three sons Bryan (Alicia), Myron (Sharon), and David; five grandchildren, Brennan (MacKenzie), Rachel, Charlie, Alex, and Aaron.
Pat was predeceased by her husband, Frank and sister Margery Saussler.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects. A service will be held on11 AM Tuesday, December 31st at Hodges Funeral Home in Zephyrhills, Florida. Burial will follow at Oakside Cemetery.
