Patricia E. McTigue, 67, of San Antonio, Florida passed away Sunday, November 8th, 2020. To know Pat was to love her, and if you were lucky enough to be a part of her life, you were loved back even more. Having many passions in life, from the New York Mets to The Beatles, and her Irish Heritage, Patricia's family was her deepest love. Growing up with seven siblings, Patricia gave her full heart and soul to her family. She was an irreplaceable force of love to her ten nieces and nephews, three great-nieces and great-nephew: and is already missed immensely.
Having overcome adversity several times throughout her life, Patricia grew stronger and wiser with each bump in the road.
Her love and enthusiasm for life was incomparable; never will you find someone with such empathy, kindness, and true compassion. Patricia made everyone smile, and found true joy in brightening the lives of those around her.
Patricia had a successful career as a customer service manager with Bell Communications, General Telephone & Electronics, MCI Communications Corp., and Verizon. After years of retirement in the sunshine, Pat worked as a greeter for the Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club in San Antonio, Florida; a community she loved deeply.
Though her life was taken far too soon, she lived it to the fullest. Patricia was born in Brooklyn, New York, and over the course of her life lived on Long Island, New York, in Kansas City, California, Texas, and Florida. Patricia had many friends in each of her homes, whom she would continue to cherish and hold close to her for life.
To say that Patricia will be missed is an understatement. Having affected the lives of so many for the better, Patricia was a cornerstone to every community she entered. May she live forever in our hearts, and our multitude of enduring memories.
There will not be any services held at this time. Patricia's family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
