It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Geiger lovingly known as Patty, on August 15, 2025, at the age of 54. Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Patty lived a life full of passion, adventure, and unwavering love for family, friends, animals, and the natural world.
Patty was predeceased by her beloved parents, Judith and William Geiger Sr., whose memory she carried with her always. She is survived by her devoted sister Christina McDowell, her brother William Geiger Jr. (Kristi), and a cherished circle of nieces and nephews: Brooke Anthony (Alex), Sean McDowell, Justin McDowell (Carson), Kat Fripp, Drake Geiger, and Lily Geiger. She also leaves behind an adored great niece and nephew, Olivia and Braxton, as well as her beloved fur babies—Lexie, Sadie, and Socks—who were her constant companions and true family.+
A proud graduate of Boca Ciega High School Patty went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of South Florida. She dedicated much of her career to public service as a lifeguard with the City of St. Petersburg before retiring.
Patty lived life to the fullest. She had a deep love for classic cars, flying planes, fishing, boating, and home remodeling. She had a gift for transforming spaces and found joy in restoring homes and cars. She also had a passion for the land and fighting to protect green spaces from overdevelopment. Her love for animals and the natural world spoke to her generous and nurturing spirit.
A celebration of Patty's life will be announced at a later date. Family and friends will gather to honor her legacy, share memories, and reflect on the profound impact she made on those around her.
She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
