Patricia Jean Gavin of Dade City, Florida passed at home on September 28, 2025 at the age of 65.

Patricia was born on July 8, 1960 in Paris, Kentucky to parents William Clem and Nancy Lee Clem. She grew up with 3 siblings, two sisters: Billie Joyce Brown and Kathleen Walton, and one brother: Ronnie Walton.

Around the age of six, Patricia moved to Florida. Here, she met her lifelong best friend Cindy. Patricia attended Land O' Lakes High School and graduated in 1978. One year later in February of 1979, she married her soulmate Ricky Gavin. Together they enjoyed 46 years of love and laughter. Patricia and Ricky welcomed five children: Rachel, Lisa, Heidi, Michelle, and Ryan. Patricia truly blossomed as a dedicated mother, being remembered for her warm heart and her loving nature. She would say motherhood was her life's greatest achievement.

Patricia willingly embraced the role of grandmother to 8 beloved grandchildren: Matthew, Brandon, Tyler, Mackenzie, Emmie, James, Evie, and Jack. In typical grandmother fashion, she was an amazing cook who enjoyed sharing her meals with those she loved.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents: William Clem and Nancy Lee Clem, and her brother Ronnie Walton, who passed at the age of 49.

She is survived by her devoted spouse, Ricky Gavin; her five children: Rachel (Ken) Amsler, Lisa (Jesse Brannen) Gavin, Heidi (Byron) Stephens, Michelle (Anthony) Harm, and Ryan Gavin; her eight grandchildren: Matthew, Brandon, Tyler, Mackenzie, Emmie, James, Evie, and Jack; and a multitude of other family members.

Patricia's easygoing and compassionate spirit brought those around her 65 years of enduring love. She will be fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to feel her light.
