The world lost a beloved Mother, Nana, and Sister, Patricia A. Bryant, on September 6th, 2021 at the age of 81. She passed at home in Dade City, FL surrounded by her family.
Patricia was born Patricia Ann Wilder on June 18th, 1940 in Rushville, IN and later moved to Florida and made it her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Gary N. Bryant Sr., son Bonnell Caudill, daughter Sherry Cowles, and two grandsons Robert McKay, and Jonathan Bryant. She left behind her two sons Anthony Caudill, and Gary N. Bryant Jr., her four daughters, Tina McKay, Deanna Bowers, Kerrie Specht and Katie Specht, 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, her brothers Jimmy Spears, Larry Wilder, Jerry Wilder, and Bill Wilder, her sister Judy Hawk, as well as her two Aunts Beverly Enrietta, and Shirley Thomas, along with many more family members too extensive to name.
Patricia's health had been deteriorating for many years, yet she never stopped fighting no matter how sick she got. When others would have broken, she stayed strong and always thought of others. She was the kindest, gentlest, most loving soul you would ever blessed to meet. Through her we know what resilience and perseverance is. There was no quit in her. She didn't lose her fight, but instead gladly ascended to her reward in Heaven. Though this world tried to beat her down her entire life, she remained strong in Christ, the Monarch of her family, and a role model for all.
By Patricia's wishes there will be no funeral held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to All Children's Hospital.
Nobody else ever held us so tight, or could ever make us feel so right.
Momma's eyes shined bright with love.
Now she is with Daddy up above.
We'll see you again: this is not goodbye.
Our hearts will mourn till we meet in the sky.
It takes a lot to know what is love
It's not the big things, but the little things
That can mean enough
A lot of prayers to get me through
And there is never a day that passes by
I don't think of you
You were always there for me
Pushing me and guiding me
Always to succeed
You showed me
When I was young just how to grow
You showed me
Everything that I should know
You showed me
Just how to walk without your hands
'Cause mom you always were
The perfect fan.
